EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
Charles Garramone
Charles Garramone became the CEO and Managing Partner of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in 2025 and proudly serves as one of the organization’s majority owners. In partnership with fellow owner Byron Sackett, Charles is leading a dynamic new chapter for Blue Crabs baseball—one centered on fan experience, community connection, and long-term growth.
Charles Garramone became the CEO and Managing Partner of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in 2025 and proudly serves as one of the organization’s majority owners. In partnership with fellow owner Byron Sackett, Charles is leading a dynamic new chapter for Blue Crabs baseball—one centered on fan experience, community connection, and long-term growth.
Charles has strong personal ties to the region. His father, a colonel in the U.S. Air Force, was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base, located just north of the ballpark. That connection fuels Charles’s passion for bringing people together through sports and creating a ballpark environment that feels like home for Southern Maryland families.
In addition to his role with the Blue Crabs, Charles is a minority owner of DC Power Football Club, a Division I professional women’s soccer team competing in the USL Super League. DC Power plays at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.—the shared home of D.C. United and the Washington Spirit.
Whether on the baseball diamond or the soccer pitch, Charles is committed to building organizations that elevate their communities, inspire pride, and deliver unforgettable fan experiences.
Byron Sackett
Byron Sackett serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, becoming a majority owner in 2025. Working closely with CEO Charles Garramone, Byron oversees the team’s day-to-day operations and ensures that every aspect of the organization runs efficiently—both on the field and behind the scenes.
Byron Sackett serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, becoming a majority owner in 2025. Working closely with CEO Charles Garramone, Byron oversees the team’s day-to-day operations and ensures that every aspect of the organization runs efficiently—both on the field and behind the scenes.
With a strong emphasis on fan experience, community engagement, and organizational excellence, Byron is committed to transforming the ballpark into a vibrant entertainment destination for Charles County and the broader Southern Maryland region. His leadership is rooted in creating a welcoming, high-energy environment that brings people together and strengthens the team’s connection to its community.
As the Blue Crabs enter a new era of growth, Byron is excited to help guide the organization forward and elevate the standard of what fans can expect when they visit Regency Furniture Stadium.
Christian Heimall
Christian brings more than a decade of sports management experience to the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, with leadership roles at both the High Point Rockers and the Rockland Boulders. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation in media relations, promotions, corporate partnerships, and fan engagement. During his time in High Point, Christian played a key role in launching the franchise, guiding the team to the Atlantic League Championship Series, and helping shape an award-winning ballpark atmosphere.
Christian brings more than a decade of sports management experience to the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, with leadership roles at both the High Point Rockers and the Rockland Boulders. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation in media relations, promotions, corporate partnerships, and fan engagement. During his time in High Point, Christian played a key role in launching the franchise, guiding the team to the Atlantic League Championship Series, and helping shape an award-winning ballpark atmosphere.
Most recently, Christian served as the Director of Enrollment Guest Experiences at High Point University, where he oversaw a multimillion-dollar budget and led a large team committed to delivering industry-leading campus visits and hospitality experiences.
Now stepping into the role of General Manager for the Blue Crabs, Christian is excited to bring his passion, leadership, and creativity back to the Atlantic League. He looks forward to working closely with the community, fans, and partners to elevate the organization and deliver an exceptional experience at Regency Furniture Stadium.
Nat Giblin
Nat Giblin is the Assistant General Manager of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, bringing extensive experience in ticketing, analytics, marketing, and fan engagement across Minor League Baseball. He previously served with the Wilmington Blue Rocks and Aberdeen IronBirds before becoming the Senior Director of Ticketing & Analytics for the Lake Erie Crushers, where he led sales strategy, digital ticketing initiatives, and key revenue-driving campaigns.

MEDIA, MARKETING & CREATIVE SERVICES
Keith Noonan
Keith enters his second season as the voice of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and his third year in the Atlantic League. Last year, he served as the Broadcast and Media Relations Assistant with the York Revolution, working alongside longtime broadcaster Darrell Henry. In 2022, Keith was the Broadcast Assistant for the Trenton Thunder under Gregg Caserta—now with MLB Network—and also called several Triple-A games during the Thunder’s affiliation with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2021.
Keith enters his second season as the voice of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and his third year in the Atlantic League. A graduate of Alvernia University in Reading, PA, Keith began his broadcasting career at WBCB in Levittown, PA, working under legendary Philadelphia Eagles voice Merrill Reese, with whom he remains close. Outside of the booth, Keith is an avid golfer and former standout collegiate player, earning Player of the Year honors and winning the conference tournament during his senior season in 2018.
Jarron Nathan
Jarron is a proud Maryland native and a passionate fan of both football and combat sports. A devoted supporter of the Baltimore Ravens, he also closely follows fighters such as Jake Paul and Francis Ngannou. Jarron began his journey with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs as an intern in 2022, and his creativity, vision, and work ethic quickly earned him a full-time role. Now serving as Manager, Creative Services, Jarron leads the club’s creative efforts, helping shape the visual identity and storytelling that connect fans to the Blue Crabs both on and off the field.
Maggie Connolly
Maggie joined the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in April 2025, bringing with her a strong background in professional and collegiate sports. Prior to joining the Blue Crabs, the Northern Virginia native worked with organizations including the Olney Cropdusters, Asheboro Zookeepers, and most recently, the Carolina Hurricanes. Maggie is a graduate of Elon University, where she earned degrees in Economics and Marketing with a minor in Sport Management.

Ticketing & Corporate Partnerships
Matt Hopefl
Coming into his fifth full season with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, Matt Hoepfl is energized and ready to go. He is focused on continuing to grow the Blue Crabs family of business partners and strengthening relationships throughout the community. Prior to working in professional sports, Hoepfl built a background in U.S. politics and sales and earned a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy. His goal is to help the organization in any way necessary to bring a championship to Waldorf.
Daniel Edgren
Daniel joined the Blue Crabs in 2026 as Director of Ticket Operations, overseeing all aspects of ticketing strategy and day-to-day operations. He is focused on delivering a seamless, fan-friendly experience from purchase to ballpark entry.

Daniel brings more than six years of ticketing experience across affiliated and professional baseball and is excited to apply that knowledge to serve the Blue Crabs organization and the Southern Maryland community.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys cheering on his beloved Boston Red Sox and UConn Huskies.
Luke Allen
Luke Allen is in his first season with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and is excited to bring his sales experience to the organization. He is currently completing his master’s degree in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University. Prior to joining the Blue Crabs, Luke worked with the DC Breeze in season and group sales and with the Washington Nationals in ticket operations. Originally from Seattle, Washington, he graduated from Butler University in 2023.
Ben Hoban
Ben is from Clarks Summit, PA, and a graduate of Cleveland State University, where he earned his degree in Sports Management. He enters his first season with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.

He has gained experience across both professional sports and innovative tech, having worked with the Cleveland Browns Foundation, Cleveland Guardians, Lake Erie Crushers, and Virtual Round Ballers, a virtual reality basketball video game.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time outdoors, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. He’s recently discovered a passion for cooking—though he’ll never turn down a plate of chicken tenders.
Merchandise
Kendra Hunt
Kendra is entering her second season with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and is committed to making every gameday a first-class experience for fans, staff, and partners alike. She joined the organization in 2025 as the Office and Merchandise Manager, where she plays a key role in front-office operations and retail management. On gamedays, Kendra oversees the Blue Crabs’ gameday staff, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the ballpark.
Field & Stadium Operations
Corey Kolibas
Corey attended his first MLB game at Fenway Park in 1999 at the age of nine, where his love for baseball—and the field itself—was born. Inspired early by legendary groundskeeper David R. Mellor’s book Picture Perfect, Corey knew his goal was to one day run a professional baseball field.
Corey attended his first MLB game at Fenway Park in 1999 at the age of nine, where his love for baseball—and the field itself—was born. Inspired early by legendary groundskeeper David R. Mellor’s book Picture Perfect, Corey knew his goal was to one day run a professional baseball field.
He gained experience as a gameday employee, seasonal staff member, and intern before serving multiple seasons as Assistant Head Groundskeeper with the Somerset Patriots in the Atlantic League, returning again when the club became a Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Corey also worked with the Staten Island Yankees and the 2017 Atlantic League All-Star Game.
After ten years of persistence, Corey achieved his dream of becoming a Head Groundskeeper. A lifelong fan of the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and Buccaneers, he’s excited to bring his passion for baseball and pristine playing surfaces to the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.
